She appears in the 1870 census of Marshall County as Elizabeth Byerley. Peggy Shaffer said she was Mary Ann, known as Elizabeth, and supplied her birthdate. I had previously guessed that she was the second wife of Leander Stinnett, but that can't be right, because the 1900 census gives his wife's birthday in October 1867, not June 1854. The 1910 census confirms his second wife's birthday as being in 1867.
