The bird on my head is a ringnecked turtledove. It is named Bird. Mom rescued it (she was always rescuing animals). It flew around our house for awhile; it liked landing on people's heads. Eventually it found a home in Kentucky with my Aunt Ethel (Ethel & Don Sukow, my mom's mother's sister).
